We found the wind farms to be quite impressive. There were times when there were dozens of them on both sides of the road. We saw several windmill blades on flatbed trucks going down the road. Those suckers are huge! I wonder if one would fit in our backyard? Hmmm....

All three of the kids have been traveling really well. We've been averaging 8 - 9 hours of driving each travel day. They are allowed about an hour of time on the 3DS or Kindle and usually watch one movie along the way. The rest of the time they read, do activity books, or play with things like Wikki Stiks. At some point, one or the other of them falls asleep.

We pulled into the Onawa KOA and saw a For Sale sign that made us a bit nervous, but if anything, I think they are sprucing up the place more to try to sell it. It is a small campground, but very clean and quiet. Definitely more my speed. Especially after the Jellystone. No Christmas carols here! I'll share pictures in the next post.
As soon as we were set up, we headed for the pool. We met several very nice people, some who had just come from the Badlands, who gave us some tips on where to go. After a nice, long swim, Gabriella and I were excited to find that So You Think You Can Dance was on. We missed the last season because we don't have cable anymore. It has always been one of her favorite shows, so we watched while we ate pizza at Grandma and Grandpa's. They delivered to the campsite - we can't even get that at home! We headed back to our camper for bedtime stories. Gavin and I are trying to finish up the fifth Harry Potter - those books take a LONG time to read out loud!
